As part of the festival Jim Medicine Tree a teacher of Natural Spirituality and author, who travels internationally to teach, heal and conduct ceremony will be giving a talk at Riawunna Centre.

Since 1999, Jim has been responsible for the United Nations Turtle Pipe, the Ceremonial Pipe presented to the U.N. in 1984 by Adam Fortunate Eagle. He now holds this Pipe for ceremonies worldwide.
Jim is also the Native American Issues Adviser for Montana Youth Homes. He provides council about the Sacred Pipe to inmates of the several State Prison Systems and has lectured on reinstating rites of passage ceremonies to combat youth suicide.
Jim is also the Project coordinator for Montana Integrative Therapies, and an experienced CranioSacral Therapist.
