This computer lab is located on Level 1 of Hytten Hall, Hobart Campus, and is available to all Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander students and students enrolled in any HAB or HAU unit (Aboriginal Studies).
The lab consists of PCs. If you experience problems with these computers see one of the admin staff, otherwise contact one of the following technical staff:
Printing is available in this room; however students are required to supply their own paper.
This computer lab is located in Room 102, Building K, Newnham Campus, and is available to all Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander students and students enrolled in any HAB or HAU unit (Aboriginal Studies).
The lab consists of PCs. If you experience problems with these computers see one of the admin staff, otherwise contact Damien Collins, Technical Officer, Rm L164, Level 1, Faculty of Arts Building.
Printing is available in this room under the CAPS system.
In addition, we have wireless internet access available throughout the whole centre.
Please note: All rooms within Riawunna Centre (North & South) are not centrally allocated. Please contact an administrative officer if you wish to enquire about booking our rooms.
Riawunna Centre – Hobart has a meeting room, which can double as a small tutorial room. The room can seat 8 – 10 people comfortably. Also in the Hobart centre is a large teaching space which is occasionally used for seminars & cultural events.
Riawunna Centre - Launceston has a meeting room which doubles as a teaching space. The room can seat up to sixteen people comfortably.
Riawunna Centre – Hobart has three designated tutorial spaces throughout the building.
Riawunna Centre - Launceston has a designated private tutorial room and spaces throughout the centre that can be used for one on one tutoring, or small groups of up to 4 people.
Riawunna Centre – Hobart has two dedicated private study area’s located in room 113. Please speak to staff to gain access.
Although Riawunna Centre - Launceston has some great study areas (2 areas in resource room, some space in the communal area and the computer lab and even a table outside) there are no designated private study areas.
Both Riawunna Centre Hobart and Launceston have a kitchen and cooking facilities available. Pop in and make a cuppa or store your lunch in the fridge & heat it up later.
