Come and Visit
The Riawunna Centre is open from Monday to Friday from 9am till 5pm. The Centre is located on the Ground Floor of the Hytten Hall Building on the Hobart campus and in the Riawunna Building on the Launceston campus.
Students are invited to drop in to visit, make use of the facilities provided or make an appointment to speak to individual members of staff about student support, tutorial assistance or to discuss bursaries, scholarships, cadetships and other student related matters.
On the Hobart and Launceston campuses there is a student common room, a computer lab, a resource room, a meeting room and tutor and private study spaces available to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
Community lunches, barbecues and other social events are regularly held on all three campuses.
Student common room:
- comfortable lounge area
- coffee and tea making facilities

- study areas
Student computer lab:
- desktop computers
A Resource Room with a unique reference collection is maintained for research and study on each campus. Each resource room contains:
- books, articles;
- audio-visual materials; and
- material culture.
Small Meeting Room
- The room can accommodate 6 to 8 people. It is recommended that a booking be made in advance.
Tutor and private study spaces
- Students are welcome to use these spaces
