Ann coordinates the Murina Preparation Pathway Program across the state.
Ann was Head of Languages for many years at the Brisbane Girls’ Grammar School. She was heavily involved with curriculum development and drafted the state curriculum for Latin in Queensland schools.
She has also worked extensively with youth offenders and young people at risk. With her husband she founded and ran the Extend-A-Family programme in Queensland which placed traumatized and at risk teenagers into stable family situations while they re-oriented their lives.
Ann has been teaching into both the Murina programme and ITAS at Riawunna for the past 5 years. She is currently employed as the co-ordinator of the Murina programme on the Launceston campus. She teaches several units of this programme and also offers support for all Indigenous students on the Newnham campus.
