Jaime is responsible for managing a program of community engagement and outreach activities, that builds links with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community with a goal to maximise the community’s involvement and participation at the University of Tasmania.
Jaime oversees the administrative and operational requirements of Riawunna Centre, including financial management, and supervision of professional staff on the Hobart, Launceston and Cradle Coast Campuses. This includes the oversight of the Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme, special projects and promotional initiatives.
Jaime liaises with the university community to encourage an appropriate cultural environment which perpetuates and enhances Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and an environment that that is culturally safe for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and community.
