The workshop is an bi-annual event made possible by the joint efforts of the RCS and the North West Area Helth Service (NWAHS) and the Department of Education.
The program provides an interactive experience for students with an interest in future careers in the health area.
The students attended workshops on selected professions including physiotherapy, oral health, social work, podiatry, diabetes, radiography, occupational therapy, pharmacy, nursing and medicine. They were also given information on career study paths, UTAS opportunities along with course information and scholarships.
The workshop is the first of two for the year and is offered to students between Latrobe and Ulverstone.
