The Simulated Learning Environment's (SLE's) are restricted areas of access where high levels of security ensure the integrity of teaching spaces, equipment and confidential information. It is essential that bookings are made to ensure the SLE's are available and this should be done at least two weeks prior to use. During the academic year, MBBS students utilise the SLE's extensively. Bookings from other users are managed around these sessions.
SLE users are required read the SLE Terms & Conditions of Hire and complete a SLE Booking Form. The Booking Form asks for details relating to the learning objectives, equipment required, number of students and facilitators are required and must be submitted to us via the online form only.
All users of the SLE's are required to undertake an Orientation before teaching. It will be the responsibility of the clinical teacher to contact the SLE to arrange an Orientation.
Please contact Melissa White of the Rural Clinical School on (03) 6430 4551 or at Melissa.White@utas.edu.au for any enquiries on booking or using the SLE's.
