Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre AO/Technical Support Officer
In a new role, Melissa works alongside the AO Clinical Education, Clinical Medical Educator, Clinical Simulation Educator and the Academic Clinical Advisor to ensure the smooth delivery of high quality simulation training is provided to internal and external CSSC users.
The CSSC caters for Year 4 and Year 5 MBBS Program Students and RCS Academics. Along with Specialists, Doctors, Nurses, RMOs, and Interns from North West Tasmanian Hospitals, and Ambulance Tasmania staff.
Melissa coordinates various Simulation and Clinical Skills training sessions, in particular the Australian Resuscitation Council certified ALS-1 (Advanced Life Support - Level 1) Courses.
Health and Saftey Representative (HSR)
Melissa also plays an important role in representing the RCS workers interests in Work Health and Safety matters as an elected HSR (previously known as ESR - Employee Safety Representive).
