At the 2012 UTAS CCC Open Day, held on Sunday 26th August, students, graduates and staff from the Rural Clinical School and other Faculty of Health Science schools, held interactive information stalls to showcase the wide variety of health careers available.
The Open Day attracted a large number of interested community members who enjoyed talking with students about life at University and health careers. Community members took part in activities such as identifying & discussing organs of the body, measuring pulses & blood pressure and manufacturing lip balm.
Professor Isabelle Ellis & Dr Amanda Felmingham made public presentations on the opportunities available in nursing and medical careers.
