The Research Ethics and Integrity workshop was held at Burnie Rural Clinical School on Thursday 22nd March 2012.

Guest speakers: Professor Peter Mudge - Chair, Health and Medical HREC, Dr Alan Champion- Chair, Tas Scientific Research Advisory Committee, Jen Bruyn Schmidt- UTAS Research Integrity Coordinator and Nicola Hodgman- Manager, UTAS Research Ethics Unit.

This workshop provided:

• An overview of the legislation, principles and codes governing the conduct of research in Tasmania.
• Information about the processes and documentation used when applying for ethics committee approval, including navigating the website.
