Professor Larry Fisher - Professor in Residency - UCLA - Berkeley
"Diabetes Distress and Depression. Re-Learning an Important Lesson"
Dr Fisher is an investigator on two NIH funded studies to assist primary care practices to improve the care of patients with diabetes. He has won two major USCF School of Medicine Teaching Awards since 2001, was nominated for the UCSF Postdoctoral Scholars Association Outstanding Mentorship Award, and has received a certificate from the American Psychological Association in "Recognition for Substantial Contributions to the Field of Family Psychology and Health".
