DHHS Better Access to Palliative Care, with the Centre for Rural Health is working with palliative care service providers, volunteers, community organisations and carers to establish a Regional Bereavement Care Network. The network will improve co-ordination and partnerships in the delivery of bereavement care and support across Tasmania.Stakeholder workshops were held in February 2017 across Tasmania to discuss the functions, membership, communication and ongoing sustainability of these networks and to: develop practice standards/guidelines for bereavement care in Tasmania. A summary of the outcomes from these workshops will be circulated for further input and comment.
