Keeping them: the rural and remote allied health workforce

The University of Tasmanian's Centre for Rural Health (CRH) is conducting a study looking at factors that contribute to the long term retention of the allied health workforce in rural and remote areas of Tasmania (HREC ethics approval number: H0014483)

We are inviting allied health workers involved in direct patient care who have worked in rural or remote areas of Tasmania (i.e. not Launceston or Hobart) for more than 5 years to complete a short online survey which can be found at https://surveys.utas.edu.au/index.php/41823/lang-en.

For the purpose of this study an allied health worker is someone who has received some training and a formal qualification e.g. degree or VET sector qualification, to provide direct care services to a client or patient. This excludes doctors, nurses and midwives.

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact the Chief Investigator, Tony Barnett on 03 6324 4011 or tony.barnett@utas.edu.au

Thank you in advance
