Applications are invited for the Graduate Certificate in Arts (Chinese), Graduate Certificate in Arts (Indonesian) and the Graduate Certificate in Arts (Japanese) for 2010. These postgraduate courses are devised to upgrade language and language teaching skills of teachers in senior secondary, secondary and primary schools in Tasmania. The development of the courses is funded by DEEWR under the National Asian Languages and Studies in Schools Program (NALSSP) and the University of Tasmania.
Application Form - UTAS has put effort into streamlining the application process by producing a single fast track application form which will combine the application for eligiblility, the application for HECS scholarships and for teaching release to go to schools, and the application for admission to the course. This will be available at this site and circulated among contacts early this week.
The deadline for applications is 30 October 2009. Late applications will be considered.
