For as long as humanity has been self-aware, people have asked the question "Where do people come from?". For some people the answer is that our Universe was created by a god or gods. The modern scientific explanation is that the Universe originated in a big bang 13.7 millions billion years ago. Both of these answers raised many questions: who created the gods? How do you create something from nothing? Why do the laws of physics seem tailored to allow intelligent life to exist?
Come and join in a discussion with Professor Lawrence Krauss (Arizona State University) and Professor John Dickey (UTAS) as they share some of their thoughts on the "big" questions about the nature of the Universe.
