Attend the first lecture for each unit. This is when you receive important timetable information such as how to nominate a tutorial time and when tutorials begin - the first week of semester usually involves lectures only but your orientation and first lectures will confirm.
Lecture times are usually set, and each session is unique - ideally, you should attend every lecture.
For some units, there may be multiple tutorial and practical class times offered each week - these are repeat classes. The online 'All classes' timetable will display every possible tutorial or prac class time - you will generally need to choose and attend only one of these times each week.
If you are enrolled in Year 1 Earth Science, Geography, Plant Science, or Zoology units in Semester 1, you may have been allocated to a specific practical class time for each unit. You can find out your prac allocation at your first lecture.
Consult your unit outline or UTAS Courses and Units website to determine which classes you need to attend.
