"Think Big and Make it Happen" presented by Dr Alex Zelinsky
Australia's Chief Defence Scientist Dr Alex Zelinsky will present The Warren Centre's Innovation Lecture Series for 2013, based on the theme of "Think Big and Make It Happen."
There will be eight events throughout Australia. The Tasmanian event will take place on Tuesday 19 November 2013 at the University of Tasmania.
Dr Zelinsky was one of The Warren Centre’s Innovation Heroes in 2012 for his contribution to innovation in information and communications technology.
His career spans innovation, science and technology, research and development, commercial start-ups and education.
In August 2013 Dr Zelinsky was awarded the Pearcey Foundation's 2013 Trevor Pearcey Medal for lifetime achievement and contribution to ICT in Australia.
UTAS Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter Rathjen will open the event.
Who: All are welcome to attend this event. Tickets can be purchased online.

When: Tuesday 19 November, 5.45pm for 6.15pm start.
Where: Stanley Burbury Theatre, University of Tasmania, Churchill Avenue, Sandy Bay.
The event will be followed by refreshments and canapés.
