CONSTAT Conference for Science Educators
The Science Teachers' Association of Tasmania (STAT) organises an annual 2-day conference CONSTAT, for science teachers and educators , laboratory managers, and pre-service teachers. The conference includes excursions, keynote speakers, hands-on workshops and expo displays.
The Faculty of Science, Engineering & Technology (SET) is a key supporter of CONSTAT, and researchers from SET schools and research centres are usually involved as workshop presenters and/or keynote speakers.
In 2012, the theme of CONSTAT is “From Paddock and Pond to Plate”.
It will be held from 27 – 28 April, based at Scotch Oakburn College Senior Campus.
