Students in Years 4 -6 have the chance to find out what it's like to work as a scientist ! During the UTAS Science Fair, they take part in in three different inquiry based activities under the guidance of University staff and students. Participating teachers get ideas for activities to take back to the classroom.
Presented by the Faculty of Science, Engineering & Technology and the Faculty of Education as part of National Science Week, the UTAS Science Fair involves students, teachers, pre-service teachers and the Young Tassie Scientists.
In 2013, the UTAS Science Fair will be held on Tuesday 3 September at the Activities Centre, UTAS Sandy Bay campus.
