This project seeks to describe and explain the individual and organisational aspects of mobile computing in Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Australia.
The increasing deployment and use of mobile computing devices and systems in business and government in Australia is, potentially at least, driving profound changes in work practices and productivity. While commentators have speculated about such changes and impacts there has been, to date, little rigorous academic research on the nature and impact of such changes. A key business sector that may well be significantly impacted by such changes is the SME sector. This project will investigate the individual and organisational impacts of mobile computing in SMEs in Australia.
