MyPassword for iOS

eduroam

NOTE: UTAS will transition away from the UConnect Wireless service beginning in Q2 2015. If you are still connecting to UConnect, you should now reconnect using eduroam.

We recommend you set your iOS device to Forget eduroam prior to changing password, then Reconnect. Please refer to the user help guide below to assist with these steps.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Go to WiFi
  3. Open the eduroam details screen via the info icon (blue i in a circle to the right of the network name)
  4. Select Forget This Network and confirm by selecting Forget in the popup message. (If you do not have Forget This Network, please see the note below.)
  5. After changing your password select eduroam from the list of available networks
  6. Connect using your full.email.address@utas.edu.au (for staff) or username@utas.edu.au (for student) & New Password, and Accept the Security Certificate when prompted

You have successfully updated your password for this service.

NOTE
If you do not have Forget This Network as an option you will instead need to remove the network profile before proceeding. To do so, use the following steps.

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Go to General.
  3. Scroll to the bottom to find Profile.
  4. Click on this to open and you should see the title Uconnect Wireless Networking and a Remove button.
  5. Click the Remove button and confirm by selecting Remove in the pop up message.
  6. From Settings go to Wi Fi.
You will now be able to continue from Step 5 above.

Mail Client

Apple iOS Mail account passwords can be changed by completing the following steps:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  3. Select your UTAS exchange account
  4. Go to Account
  5. Clear the Password field, and type in your New Password
  6. Press Done, account will verify the New Password

You have successfully updated your password for this service.

Virtual Private Network (VPN)

Apple iOS devices with a Virtual Private Network (VPN) can change password by completing the following steps:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Go to General
  3. Go to VPN
  4. Select the UTAS VPN by pressing the info icon (blue i in a circle)
  5. Clear the Password field, and type in your New Password
  6. Select Save VPN Configuration (near the bottom of the page)

You have successfully updated your password for this service.

iqBoard App

Apple iOS devices with the iqBoard App can change password by completing the following steps: 

  1. Open the iqBoard App
  2. Tap the Back Arrow (top left corner) to take you to the Home Screen
  3. Tap Edit
  4. Tap UTAS iqBoard
  5. Tap Account: UTAS iqBoard's Account
  6. Tap Edit
  7. Tap UTAS iqBoard's Account
  8. Change Password to your New Password
  9. Select Done (x3 times)
  10. Open UTAS iqBoard, which will take you back to your Council or Committee page

You have now successfully updated your password for this service.

Browser Passwords

  • No password update required.

Outlook Web App

  • App will prompt for new password details.

Lync App

  • App will prompt for new password details.
