Virtual Private Network (VPN)

Several University of Tasmania systems and services can be accessed off-campus using the Virtual Private Network (VPN). This provides a secure connection to the University of Tasmania and allows access that would otherwise only be available on campus. This includes Web Kiosk, MyLO Manager, MyMedia, and shared network drives.

Accessing network drives

The University of Tasmania provides network drives for sharing of documents and other files. These can be accessed off-campus using the VPN (as above).

Eduroam

Eduroam is a service that allows making use of the wireless network facilities when away from your home campus, using your usual login details. Further information on Eduroam can be found at eduroam.
