A wiki is a website or collection of web pages that allows people with access (wiki members) to collaborate and share information with each other. Wikis use a simple wiki markup language that means a wiki is typically easier to manage & update than standard websites using HTML. Wikipedia is probably the most well-known example of a wiki.
Knowledge Base is an an internal wiki for UTAS staff used primarily as a knowledge management tool.

UTAS Wikis have been created to enable staff, students and external users to work together on projects.

If you would like to create and use a wiki you can request one via the self-service portal at https://utas1.service-now.com/selfservice/
Learning Services can also help with the initial structure and set up of the wiki.
Training can be provided for any level of wiki user (beginner through to advanced administrator).
Wikis can be accessed anywhere there is an internet connection. They do not require access through the UTAS network.
