To access your "MySite" page for the first time
Your MySite allows storage of up to 5000 MB of documents.
Although not essential, it is recommended that you add the address of the UTas MySite system to "Trusted Sites" in your Internet Browser. This reduces the number of prompts for confirmation of your actions when using the document storage system.
For Windows users:
Follow the above instructions for accessing the files through a Windows Explorer window. You can then drag copy files to the Explorer Window as you would for a USB drive.

Problems with File Names and Extensions
"The file name you specified is not valid or too long."
The name of each file in the MySite system must be less than 128 characters. In addition, the entire path as it appears in the browser URL / address field (including sites, folders, and file name) cannot exceed 260 characters.
If the file name is less than 128 characters, the error may be due to the name containing characters that are not allowed by MySite. These are:
~ # % & * { } \ : < > ? / + | " .
"Error 0x800700DE: The file type being saved or retrieved has been blocked."
