Email forwarding and vacation messages

Forward and Vacation Settings

The setting of email forwards and vacation messages at UTAS has changed as of 28th June, 2009. Prior to this date, forwarding and vacation was handled within our central mail servers. After this date, these settings are handled within the messaging system utilised for the receipt and delivery of your email. There are 3 different email messaging systems in use at UTAS, each one providing differing mechanisms and functionality for forward and vacation messages. Each user will utilise only one of these email messaging systems at any one point in time.

If you are not sure which email messaging system you are using, do the following:

You will be redirected to one of the three web email (webmail) locations listed below. Select the forward/vacation instructions of the messaging system you are using. Follow the guidelines for the messaging system you use, to access and set email forward/vacation messages.
