Lotus Notes
Mail Forwarding:
There is currently no mechanism from within Lotus Notes allowing the user to set forwards. If you have a business case for requiring a mail forward you can request one be set by contacting the ITR Service Desk by email to service.desk@utas.edu.au phone +61-3-62261818.
Vacation Messages:
As a Lotus Notes user, you can manage your
vacation message settings using the ‘Out of Office’
agent. This can be configured from within the Lotus Notes
application, or from within the ‘iNotes’ web mail
environment.
Follow these steps to set up a vacation message
from within Lotus Notes:

Open Lotus Notes and login.

Click 'Tools' and select 'Out of Office'.

The Out of Office window will open, on the
‘Dates’ tab, enter your leaving and returning dates.

Click the 'Enable' button to apply your chosen
settings.
Optionally, you can further customise your
vacation message as follows:

You can customise your vacation message on the
‘Out of Office Message’ tab.

You can create an alternate message for
specified senders on the ‘Special Message’ tab.

You can exclude specified senders from
receiving a vacation message on the ‘Exceptions’ tab.
