Institute for the Study of Social Change logo

The Institute has funds available to assist our Affiliated Researchers and Flagship Projects with developing grant applications. We have therefore organised a Grant Development Workshop which is open to all Institute Affiliated Researchers.

The Workshop has been designed to assist you with development of grant applications (primarily ARC applications) by providing you with the opportunity to 'pitch' your grant application/s and receive valuable feedback from our panel of experts. Our panel will include senior academics with extensive experience in successful ARC (and other) grant applications as well as staff from the ABL Research Hub who can answer all your questions about the application process at UTAS.

To ensure the Workshop runs smoothly we have developed a template for all participants to use. Please submit the ISC Grant Development Workshop Pitch Template (WORD 21.2KB) by email to Dr Rebecca Dorgelo no later than Friday 21 October. Please also bring a copy of your Pitch Template to the Workshop to assist your presentation to the panel and other participants.

For those applications which the expert panel assess as promising, the Institute will be in touch after the Workshop to discuss how we can support the development of a full application.

Friday 28 October 2016, 1.00pm to 4.00pm (afternoon tea will be provided)

Harvard Lecture Theatre 1, Centenary Building (Sandy Bay Campus) and by video link to Video Conference Room NH.X117 (Newnham Campus) and Video Conference Room CC.B159 (Cradle Coast Campus)
