MediaLab
The JMC Media Lab, located across from the Arts Lecture Theatre, includes five radio and video production studios, a twenty-space editing suite and a newsroom. The lab's design recognises the shift that has occurred in the media in recent years. JMC students are encouraged to embrace the new technologies now available - from mobile phones to MP3s to high-end cameras, field recorders and editing software - to produce a rage of journalism and media. Students completing our program will be equipped with the skills required to work a dynamic and evolving media and communications environment.
All JMC students have access to the Lab and technical support on Thursdays and Fridays from 9am-5pm. Some equipment is also available for loan.
