Project Abstract
My MA project investigates the significance and effect of actor values in the development, implementation and evaluation of Tasmanian public policies. It examines the relationship between economic and industry development policies and policies on environmental integrity and sustainability and the effects of each on the other with special reference to the Tasmanian Coastal Policy.
The influence of key actor beliefs and ideas about economic and industrial development and about ecological diversity and sustainability on coastal management zone policymaking is examined through the lens of the Advocacy Coalition Framework.
