Claire Konkes joined the Journalism, Media and Communications staff in 2010.
Claire Konkes worked with The Australian reporting general news, politics, courts, business, features and the arts and as a reporter and regular columnist for The Mercury and Tasmanian Country. As a freelance writer she has contributed to several non-fiction books. She enjoys finding great writing; that is, work that remains in our thoughts long after the reading itself and contributes to a better, more compassionate, understanding of the world.
