Career Summary
Anne comes to the University of Tasmania from Edith Cowan University (WA). She is a senior lecturer in the School of Sociology and Social Work, and coordinates the Master of Social Work program. Anne has 20 years of practice experience as a social worker, which includes direct work, policy development and research, as well lecturing at the tertiary level and running a consultancy business. The majority of her work has been on homelessness issues.

- 2008–09 Contract to evaluate Western Australia’s Innovation and Investment Fund homelessness initiatives, WA Department of Child Protection ($35,000)
- 2007 Contract to explore ways of assisting people experiencing primary homelessness to make successful transitions to more stable living, Qld Department of Housing, ($50,000)
