Jed submitted his PhD thesis, 'Citizen Rights and Housing Tenure' on 30/09/05 to the University of Tasmania.
He is currently working on several papers and a book proposal regarding specific historical, cultural and civic aspects of Australian national identity with Dr Bruce Tranter.
Jed is also an adjunct staff member of the UTAS Housing and Community Research Unit (HACRU).
Jed is interested in several research issues including citizenship rights, housing studies, national identity, and social movements.
