Jenny graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work with honours in 2008. She went on to work as a social worker at Launceston College before returning to UTAS to commence a PhD in October 2010. Her research is focused on exploring the relevance of an ethic of care in social work practice. Jenny will commence a lecturing position in 2012, coordinating the new social work unit "Specialist Fields of Practice". After tutoring in the social work course over the last two years she is excited to have been given the opportunity to take on this new challenge and combine her love of teaching with her research.
