Interested in print and digital journalism and the opportunity to build a professional portfolio, with mentoring from senior reporters and editors?
Students undertaking Honours in Journalism, Media and Communications in 2014 are strongly encouraged to apply for a new scholarship on offer – The Examiner Internship Scholarship.
Funded by the UTAS Arts Environment Research Group, the scholarship offers the unique opportunity to complete a four-week internship, working in The Examiner’s Launceston and Hobart newsrooms, with a potential visit to The Age newsroom in Melbourne.
The internship culminates in the development of a major news feature of publishable standard on a topic related to society and the environment.
Applications must be submitted through the UTAS Scholarships Office by 31 October 2013.
