Congratulations to Professor Rob White, who has been awarded the Stephen Crook Memorial Prize at the recent Brisbane conference of the Sociological Association of Australia for the best sociology book published in the past two years (2010-2011). Rob's book, Transnational environmental crime toward an eco-global criminology (Routledge, 2011) explores crimes related to pollution, crimes against wildlife and those harms that pose threats to the environment more generally.
