What is the Social Work Timetable for Semester 1?
The timetable for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Social Work still needs to be finalised. This task will be completed shortly. We're aware that many of you need to plan for next year regarding child-care, work etc.
At this stage, Hobart and Cradle Coast students can expect to attend classes on Mondays in their regions, and on Tuesdays in Launceston. Launceston students can expect to attend classes in their region on Mondays, Tuesdays and, for some students, on Wednesdays. This will allow all students to have smaller tutorial sizes, which is especially important for your learning within the interpersonal units. Students on campus in Launceston three days per week will be in class for a part of each day. Students on campus two days per week can expect to be in class for a full day on Tuesday and most of Monday. We will post the final timetable online in the very near future. So please check the Social Work website regularly for updates.
If you have any queries about the program, please contact Social.Work@utas.edu.au or phone 6324 3946.
See you in February 2010!
