Workshops conducted by CALT

These 'workshops' can be held in a format or time to suit your school; with ongoing support provided for interested staff.

School-based workshop topics can include, but are not limited to:

  • developing unit outlines;
  • assessment;
  • sessional staff training;
  • plagiarism and academic integrity;
  • case-based learning;
  • problem-based learning;
  • presentation skills;
  • evidence-based teaching;
  • internationalisation;
  • inclusive teaching practice;
  • the teaching/research nexus;
  • improving the student experience;
  • integrated tertiary literacy development and developing communication skills;
  • developing and assessing graduate attributes; and,
    effective videoconference teaching.

School-based workshops are very popular and requests are processed as they are received, so get in early to secure the date and time that suits your school best.
