Dr Bernardo A. León de la Barra attended an IEEE Teacher In-Service Program (TISP) training workshop in Brisbane on 1-2 September 2012. The workshop was facilitated by IEEE Educational Activities personnel from the USA and the UK. Attendees at the workshop came from a number of Australian states and territories. A key goal for the workshop was to train IEEE volunteers on how to provide in-service programs to local pre-university educators. The TISP program makes use of an extensive array of lesson plans and resources that are available from the Try Engineering repository.
