International Student Barometer (ISB)
The ISB is a survey conducted and coordinated by the International Graduate Insight Group on an annual basis. Institutions have the opportunity to survey international students at different levels of study every April. The survey aims to find out how successful Australian institutions are in meeting the hopes and ambitions international students invest in their decision to study in Australia.
The International Student Barometer (ISB) is the world’s largest student survey and is administered by the independent external research company i-graduate. Over 160 institutions in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, continental Europe and the USA have adopted the ISB. It is now the largest study of international students in the world with feedback from over 250,000 students in the last 2 years.
UTAS participated in the ISB for the first time in 2012 with a view to finding out the extent to which student expectations translate into a posititve experience at out University.
The 2012 UTAS ISB report is available here [PDF 522KB].
