Students as Change Agents is an exciting and innovative project that lets you take an active part in making your time at the University of Tasmania even better. You can identify areas you want to improve, and then research solutions with your fellow students, which we'll help you put into action as a Change Agents project.

“I fully commend t
his initiative. UTAS is one of the first universities in Australia to develop a Student Experience Strategy and in its development, and with other policies, the student body (TUU) has made a major contribution that has immeasurably strengthened the strategy. Internationally, there is much evidence of the value and need for working in partnership with students and their representative bodies in all aspects of university activity and this shows the potential to provide a rich complement to traditional notions of formal student representation e.g. on course committees. As DVC, I am committed to working in partnership with our students and to respond to their voices to improve the student experience.”
