In September 2013, the Student Centre hosted the Students Matter forum enabling students and staff to present their findings on a topic related to the student experience, to a wider audience. The successful one day forum was held in Hobart. The full program is available here.
The Students as Change Agents initiative was officially launched as a part of the 2013 Students Matter Forum: view presentation. A workshop on how staff can support students as change agents was also included in the program and incorporated more specific national and international examples of student-led research that has resulted in the enhancement and improvement of learning and teaching experiences across their respective universities.
