A Student Learning consultation with a Learning Skills Adviser supports you to develop the academic skills you need to succeed in your study, such as: assignment writing, exam preparation, referencing, numeracy and English language skills. The focus of these consultations is to assist you in becoming an independent learner. There is generally a limit of five consultations per semester and each student may only come once per week. We get very busy so please book at least one week ahead.
To book a consultation, please complete the online request form or call Hobart campus on (03) 6226 7595, Launceston campus on (03) 6324 3787 and Cradle Coast campus on (03) 6430 4949. Please let us know your full name and UTAS student ID number, the type of help you are seeking, and the days and times you are free. Please also tell us whether you are an international student or a domestic student. You can also visit us to make a booking.
If you are unable to make it to your appointment, please notify us the day before by emailing us on student.learning@utas.edu.au or calling us on (03) 6226 7595.
