Lynda's key role as Learning Skills Adviser (Numeracy) Student Learning is to facilitate the academic skills development of all students attending UTAS, with a particular focus on numeracy. Her interest in advising students on numeracy and mathematical skills began during her teacher training period.
Lynda's Honours dissertation was on the impact early teaching experiences had on teacher-efficacy in teaching of Mathematics. She is currently involved in research projects within the Student Learning and Academic Development team which are focused on improving the learning skills services provided to all students attending UTAS.
