New options available to develop skills online

The UTAS Student Learning and Academic Development team has recently gone live with changes to their website, making available a number of new online options for students to develop their academic, literacy, numeracy and English language skills online.
The new Student Learning Online site allows students to join discussion forums, book a Skype, phone or web room individual consultation, and have simple academic skills questions answered quickly through the "Talk to an Adviser Online now" option, with no appointment necessary.

Student Learning hosted two online workshops in semester one, 2013. Both workshops were a huge success and the response was overwhelming. As a result, attendance will be capped to 30 students per workshop in semester two.
A full workshop timetable is available on our workshop page. Student Learning is also busy trialling a host of delivery modes and will continue to investigate options as they arise. Permanent resources for students, including videos covering the workshop topics, will become available on our online site as the year progresses.
