Welcome to UTAS counselling.

UTAS counsellors offer confidential and professional counselling to students experiencing a range of academic, mental health and personal concerns including (but not limited to) anxiety, stress, depression, motivational problems and relationship difficulties. We recognise that these and other difficulties may impact your ability to study effectively.

Make an appointment

For personal counselling go to CareerHub online appointments and you can book a time either in your region, or with any available counsellor via phone.

Same day appointments

Counselling demand is usually high and to allow faster access, same day appointments are offered (until all available are booked). Same day appointments can be booked from midnight of the day up until the appointment time. Book online.

Can't keep an appointment?

All attempts will be made to see you as early as possible. As counselling is in high demand, please contact us as soon as possible should you need to cancel and/or reschedule your appointment time. Alternatively, you can amend your appointment time online.

Have a non-urgent concern or general enquiry?

Our generic email will be responded to at the end of each working day. This is NOT for appointment arrangement but can be used for issues of concern around mental health for both students and staff. Please note this is not a confidentail email service. Email:
