This discount provides international students who previously had, or currently have a brother or sister studying at UTAS, with a 10% discount on the registered tuition fees for the duration length of the course. The discount is available for all undergraduate degrees (including an Honours year) and postgraduate coursework degrees.  Please note that if a student has already been offered a Tasmanian International Scholarship or a 10% Postgraduate or FSP to Degree Discount, this discount will not apply.

Eligibility

Students must be able to demonstrate that they previously had, or currently have a sibling studying at UTAS. Please refer to 'Apply' for further details. This discount is also extended to students who have more than one (1) brother or sister, who has or is studying at UTAS.

Amount

10% reduction in registered tuition fees for the duration of the course.

Students must submit an Application for Sibling Discount form directly to International Admissions to be assessed for this discount. Students must also attach the following certified documents together with their application to demonstrate eligibility for the sibling discount:

• Birth certificates OR passport page showing parent's name
• Passport (bio-data page)
• Student ID cards or sibling's enrolment advice

Please note that students must provide this information before census date otherwise this discount cannot be processed until the following semester.
