Delicious dishes from around the globe
UTAS Accommodation Services is holding a week of delicious dishes from around the globe.
The International Food Week Celebrations are coming up at Saltz Restaurant at the UTAS Newnham campus.
There will be a dish from an exotic location featured at both lunch and dinner daily – and you can also obtain a recipe card if you would like to attempt the dish at home.
Monday: King Prawn Laksa (Malaysia)
Tuesday: Djej Mechoui (Morrorcan spiced chicken with lemon) and Matisha Massla (sweet tomato jam)
Wednesday: Duck a la Orange (France)
Thursday: Sze Cheuen Jar Gai (Chinese Fried Szechwan Chicken)
Friday: Kung Phat Kra-Tiam (Thai garlic prawns)
When: Monday 19 to Friday 23 September
Lunch: 11:30am – 1:30pm.
Dinner: 5:30 – 7:30pm
Where: Saltz Restaurant at the UTAS Newnham campus
