Do you know someone who wants to change the world? Are they passionate, thoughtful and energetic? Are you?
The Oaktree Foundation’s Generate program is now accepting applications for Tasmania in 2011.
This is a unique leadership program, exposing first time volunteers to the aid and development sector through active campaigning and lobbying action to support their vision for global change, and provide the skills needed to realise that vision. Check it out by visiting the Oaktree Foundation.

The program runs Australia wide from mid-March to mid-October, accepting up to 300 applicants (18-26) a year. This is a valuable opportunity to work alongside other talented, creative and dedicated individuals to create new educational opportunities for young people in the developing world.
About The Oaktree Foundation
The Oaktree Foundation is an entirely youth run aid and development agency, working to end extreme poverty by providing educational opportunities for the world’s poorest. Oaktree’s work involves fundraising, advocating for change and training and mobilizing young people to lead the movement against extreme poverty. Oaktree Tasmania has had great success in 2010, road-tripping 50 young Tasmanians on the MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY Road Trip to Canberra in May, and Raising over $50,000 through the Live Below the Line campaign!
