Colourfest Film Festival is coming to Tasmania for the first time this month.
The festival will be shown at the AMC auditorium, Launceston, at 7pm on Tuesday 25 September 2012.
It will also show on Wednesday 26 September at 6pm at the Stanley Burbury Lecture Theatre, UTAS, Churchill Ave, Sandy Bay.
Colourfest is Australia's multicultural film festival, focusing exclusively on culturally diverse Australian stories. Colourfest was conceived as a response to the lack of cultural diversity on Australian screens. The festival showcases a more authentic and inclusive image of Australians as a nation of diverse faces.
Colourfest is an exciting and positive initiative from the community to ensure positive images and first voice representations of the lives of all Australians.
All are invited to attend this inspiring, free event.
