Mt Canopus optical observatory Open Night
UTAS' Mount Canopus optical observatory Open Night is on again this month and all are welcome to attend.
There will be tours of the one metre telescope, talks from leading astronomers and the chance to view the moon, stars and planets through telescopes under the guidance of the Astronomical Society of Tasmania Inc.

What: Mt Canopus optical observatory Open Night
When: Saturday, 20 October 2012, Gates open 7:30pm until 10:30pm
Where: Canopus Road, Cambridge
Entry: $5 per person, children (under 16) free
