Public lecture upcoming
The Royal Australian Chemical Institute, Tasmanian Branch, presents Prof Martyn Poliakoff from the School of Chemistry, University of Nottingham.
This lecture will begin with Prof Poliakoff explaining how he started in research and will go on to describe how he became involved in public engagement and his project to bring chemistry to YouTube to inform and entertain.
This public lecture is suitable for secondary and university students, teachers and anyone with an interested in science and how it is communicated.
It coincides with the International Year of Chemistry.
When: Tuesday the 27th of September
Time: 6pm
Where: Chemistry Lecture Theatre (Room 210), UTAS, School of Chemistry UTAS Sandy Bay campus.
